I just adore The Americans so much. Aside from the fun spy stuff, it's all about relationships. Thorny, angsty and passionate relationships. Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell are doing such brilliant work.

Also, FX saved its pennies and got the music budget back after blowing it all on Phil Collins in the pilot. Awesome.

Off to visit the fam for the weekend and then Mom and I are going to the World Figure Skating Championships in London (ON). So excited! We're also staying at a spa hotel and getting massages, etc. Wheeee!

Seriously, it's like they're writing this show especially for me. Elizabeth can totally fight her own battles, but I LOVE PROTECTIVE!PHILLIP. This show is, as I believe _jems_ pointed out, kink city. *draws fangirly hearts*

Also, I really want Phillip to get hurt at some point and for Elizabeth to go medieval on the responsible party's ass.
